Case Study : School Placement

Elizabeth and Josh Steel were expecting their first child. Neither parent had much experience of education in London and were becoming concerned because of horror stories they had heard from friends and dinner parties.

Through a phone consultancy, we spent some time with the Steel’s – working out their schooling and nursery priorities and answering the many questions they had.

We then pulled together a comprehensive action plan for the family – including information on schools that fitted their needs, key timelines and deadlines and help in how to approach, and communicate with, the schools.

Elizabeth wrote “Dean Associates gave us an exceptional plan of attack – it gave us peace of mind and the tools to successfully place our daughter.”

What our clients say

quote We have a nine year old daughter with cerebral palsy. Finding the right school was the most important part of our relocation. Dean Associates helped us understand what our choices would be and worked tirelessly with the council and local schools to identify a specialist school for our daughter. She is now happily settled. Thank you
J Ranwan, India
quote Trying to find a place in a good state school for our children had been a terrible experience before Dean Associates became involved. They helped us make sense of the endless red tape, worked out what we needed to do to maximise our chances and supported us through the appeals process. At each stage they have been positive and creative in helping us find solutions.
Mike James, Reading
quote Our school in China couldn’t help our son with his university application. Dean Associates helped him identify and prioritise courses, improved his UCAS form and ensured that we only had to pay “home” rather than international fees.
Robert Moss, Shanghai
quote Dean Associates have been wonderful. They listened hard and quickly grasped what we were looking for and have helped us through the journey – finding schools with spaces, setting up appointments and facilitating the admissions process. We couldn’t be happier.
